About Us
Teacup Yorkies for Adoption Near Lebanon Ohio LLC is truly a family run business. My children have never known a life without Yorkies and I myself have been an owner of Yorkies for almost 20 years while we as a family have been breeding for almost 6. My first Yorkie was my boy, Ninja Binja. I was 20 when I fist met him. He fit in the palm of my hand. It wasn’t an instantaneous love. I didn’t have that capability at the time. Instead, it happened slowly, with every step he took as he silently followed me from room to room. I fell in love a little more each time he’d press his wet nose onto me as he nestled against my neck at night. Within months if I was there, he was there… he lived in my lap. We were inseparable. At the time I was a transient and I lived in my car and out of hotels. There were days that I wouldn’t have moved from the spot in which I laid, except for the fact that I knew I had to care for Ninja Binja. I ate because he needed to eat, I slept because he required it, I functioned because if I didn’t, he wouldn’t either. Slowly it began to dawn on me that I couldn’t provide Ninja the stability he needed while living the way we were. I needed to make a change. So, I did. I enrolled in college, got a job and eventually met my husband. We moved into to a tiny house in Pontiac Michigan and for the first time; me and Ninja had a home together. Eventually my husband and I had two beautiful children and we moved to the country and the years seemed to just slip by, as they do. Ninja was getting older and we decided that he too, deserved a family of his own. We found Popcorn in Indiana and we did a road trip when she was 8 weeks old to pick her up. Her DNA was perfect; Ninja’s DNA was perfect and they were cleared of almost 300 varying genetic defects and diseases! However, Ninja did not receive Popcorn well… she would lunge at his legs and nip at his nose. He was annoyed, and not at all amused. But Popcorn was relentless and with time Ninja surrendered. Within months he was following her around as she pranced around the house and laying his head on her at every opportunity he had. He had fallen in love. When Popcorn was 2, she fell pregnant and we welcomed 4 perfect puppies into the world. We named them Burrito, Nugget, Beans and Jenny. They were all girls, and we decided to keep them. During the time that they spent as puppies we were constantly asked if they were for sale. We made the decision to go ahead and get a male for the girls and to breed. It wasn’t a decision we mad lightly. My husband knew that Ninja had saved my life and given me the courage and strength to get up and move ahead. Ninja had after all led me to him. We knew that though so tiny their impact would be gigantic and could quite possibly give the next person a reason to get up as well. We now look at it as our calling. Something bigger than us that is driven by external forces. Every puppy that we place into a forever home impacts that family tremendously and we take great pride in being a part of that journey. We hope to be a part of your journey as well.
